The successful candidate will work in a climate-controlled home office setting, where daily communications and interactions with department members and other healthcare professionals will take place via virtual platforms. • Assess and evaluate patients’ mental health status using appropriate clinical tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, to guide treatment decisions and create comprehensive, individualized care plans that respect cultural diversity and address specific patient needs.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress, employing evidence-based practices to implement effective interventions and therapeutic strategies that enhance the mental health diagnosis.
• Maintain timely and precise clinical documentation, including treatment records and reports, using current technology in alignment with regulatory and departmental standards.
• Collaborate closely with patients and their families to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect desired outcomes and are compatible with agreed-upon care goals.
• Identify and coordinate referral options, building effective connections between patients and treatment providers, and establishing relationships with other clinicians and referral agencies to facilitate comprehensive care.
• Provide education and mentoring opportunities for students, interns, and junior staff, fostering an environment of professional learning and development.
• Participate in peer-to-peer reviews, clinical audits, and mentoring under the guidance of your clinical supervisor to enhance team skill sets and support continuous improvement in our services.

The primary focus of this role is serving individuals and families navigating the complexities and emotional challenges associated with cancer diagnoses. By providing outpatient therapy, you will play a vital role in supporting their mental health during a critical time in their lives, ensuring they receive both empathetic care and evidence-based treatment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential for this position.

While not required, prior experience working in mental health settings, particularly with oncology patients or in detox environments, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and a passion for patient-centric care can greatly enhance your effectiveness in this position.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 105,000 annually, reflective of skills and experience.
