Epic Tapestry Medical Management Analyst
Title: Epic Tapestry Medical Management Analyst
Location: Remote
Contract Length: 6+ months (extension likely)
Client: National Health Plan
Start Date: Immediate
Position Overview
A national health plan is implementing Epic Tapestry and related Epic care management modules to replace an internal care management and utilization management platform. We are seeking Epic Tapestry Medical Management Analysts with strong implementation experience to support system configuration, workflow design, and testing activities.
This role will work within a complex enterprise Epic implementation supporting multiple lines of business including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and Commercial.
Candidates must have hands-on build experience within Epic implementations, particularly within Tapestry Medical Management workflows.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Epic Tapestry system build and configuration supporting Medical Management workflows
  • Translate business requirements into Epic configuration and build specifications
  • Configure care management and utilization management workflows
  • Build and maintain flow sheets, documentation tools, and communication templates (letters)
  • Participate in design workshops and workflow assessment sessions
  • Support integration testing, unit testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, clinical teams, and IT
  • Maintain documentation of system build, workflows, and configuration decisions
  • Support implementation activities including build validation, testing, and go-live preparation

Required Qualifications
  • Epic Tapestry Certification
  • Experience supporting Tapestry Medical Management workflows
  • 3-5+ years Epic analyst experience
  • Demonstrated hands-on configuration and build experience
  • Experience configuring flow sheets, documentation elements, and communication templates (letters)
  • Experience supporting large enterprise Epic deployments
  • Strong understanding of care management and utilization management workflows

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting payer organizations or health plans
  • Experience working with large enterprise Epic implementations
