Key Responsibilities:

Position summary:

Processing all contract requests and ensuring that HCC requirements are met.

  • Establish relationships with Business Partners and support training
  • Responsible for entering contract requests intoeMarketPlace(eMP) /CMxsystem
  • Create and support vendor enrollments in APEX
  • Initiate, complete and track status of Totality/Request Navigator transactions and HCC approval
  • Ensure close out of activities when contracts are complete
  • Provide metrics on contracts processed and cycle times
  • Responsible formaintainingcontractual compliance and escalation of compliance issues to the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area Associate Director Contract Management (example: HCC deviations)
  • Monitor PO funding, contract renewaldatesandassistin troubleshooting with the Accounts Payable process
  • Update the Neuroscience TA Contract Management System (NTCMS) in SharePoint asrequired; ensure that NTCMS fields are current with the corresponding fields in contracting systems
  • As required, create check requisitions in the ARIBA system
  • Represent the Neuroscience TA in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives as needed
  • Manage theaCREWProcess

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field required unless education is sufficiently supplemented with previous experience in J&J contracting and procurement systems.
  • Previousexperience with ARIBA, APEX, Totality, Request Navigator,SharePointand MS Office is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to deal with all levels of an organization and have excellent oral and written communication.
  • Demonstratedskills in developing strong business relationships with clients and vendors, managing budgets.
  • Must be able to work effectively independently and partner in a team environment

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
