Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local client, recruiting for a Retirement Program Analyst/Specialist position in Davis, CA.  This Retirement Program Analyst/Specialist position has a starting pay range of $30.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience.  For instant consideration for this Retirement Program Analyst/Specialist, Apply Now!
The Retirement Program Analyst/Specialist is responsible for the administration and compliance of retirement and pension plans in the United States.  This role also supports special projects related to benefits strategy and financial planning, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
This Retirement Program Analyst/Specialist requires candidates to:
  • Responsible for pension and 401k plans and administration
    • Review and process funding requests and associated invoices
    • Ensure employee support and data accuracy
    • Act as trusted liaison for plan compliance.
    • Manage and maintain plan compliance.
    • Ensure accurate enrollment of employees in the 401(k) Retirement Plan and related employer matching contributions.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of the correct type of 401(k) company contributions for each employee based on eligibility category.
  • Responsible for completion of required plan audits and filings accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with IRS, DOL and other government agencies and regulations.
  • Complete records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Oversee relationships with external vendors, including third-party administrators, actuaries, and consultants, to ensure service quality, timely deliverables, and alignment with plan objectives.
  • Coordinate with Accounting and Finance to ensure adequate funding of applicable bank accounts.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this Retirement Program Analyst/Specialist position: 
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to run and interpret reports, understand EOB’s, develop presentations and recommendations to line level and management level employees.
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in any one or more of the following, or related discipline: Human Resources, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of related work experience in Retirement Administration. Employee Benefits certifications from CEBS or World at Work is a plus

The starting pay range for this Retirement Program Analyst/Specialist is $30.00 - $35.00 depending on experience.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
