Title: Sr. Business Systems Analyst/PM - Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote

Work Arrangement
• Remote engagement with required onsite attendance in Springfield, IL during the first week of the project.
• Remaining duration of the contract may be performed remotely.
Employment Requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Job Description:
  • Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst with expertise in business resumption and application recovery documentation.
  • The candidate will be responsible for interviewing business and technology stakeholders, understanding application recovery requirements, documenting existing business resumption processes, and completing application recovery templates for client approval.
  • Candidate will help guide other team members in their application documentation tasks.
  • As a secondary role, the candidate will also act as a hands-on Project Manager managing a MS Project Plan, status reporting, risk management, and client engagement. A project plan template from a previous successful project will be provided. Templates, tools, and instruction will be provided.
  • Deliverables from this engagement will include the collection of template application recovery forms as well as gap analysis documentation and mitigation recommendations for identified process risks. Core deliverable for each application will be entered in Service Now and approved through the client.
  • A key goal of the program is to provide a fully comprehensive plan for multiple applications that will allow an organization to continue business application services through a crisis, disaster, or operational disruption.
  • Technology areas include both mainframe and client-server applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 6+ years of Business Analyst experience in IT, enterprise program environments including a solid understanding of business applications and their architecture
  • Strong understanding of Information Systems Contingency Planning (ISCP) and/or Disaster Recovery (DR) principles, processes, and lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience conducting or supporting Business Impact Analysis (BIA), including identification of critical business functions and defining RTO/RPO
  • Excellent documentation and technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, and audit-ready deliverables (plans, SOPs, reports, and evidence packages)
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, ServiceNow for tracking, documentation, and workflow management
    • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments, especially during audit or contingency planning cycles
    • Ability to function in a working manager capacity, including coordinating cross-functional activities, Developing and maintaining project and ISCP timelines
    • Tracking deliverables against key milestones and dependencies
    • Reporting status, risks, and blockers to leadership
