Job description

cFocus Software seeks a Reporting and Metrics Analyst to join our program supporting the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Business, or related field.
  • 3-7+ years of experience in reporting, data analytics, or cybersecurity metrics.
  • Experience working in enterprise IT or cybersecurity environments.
  • Familiarity with federal frameworks such as NIST RMF, NIST CSF, and FISMA.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and reporting platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Required Certifications
    • At least one relevant certification such as:
    • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (preferred)
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) (preferred)
    • Certified Data Analyst or similar analytics certification (desirable)
Duties:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting solutions for cybersecurity operations (SOC/NOC, SCRM, vulnerability management, etc.).
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple security tools and enterprise systems.
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc reports on operational performance, KPIs, SLAs, and risk posture.
  • Support metrics development aligned to NIST, FISMA, and federal cybersecurity reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
  • Automate reporting processes where possible using scripting or reporting tools.
  • Support audit and compliance reporting efforts by generating required artifacts.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Support executive-level reporting and briefing materials
