• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop accurate and individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ unique mental health needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and narrative therapy, to individuals, groups, and families.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that promotes positive treatment outcomes.
• Provide timely crisis intervention to clients presenting acute psychological distress or emergencies, utilizing your clinical judgment and compassion.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives, such as workshops and seminars, to enhance mental health literacy and encourage dialogue around mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate client records, documenting treatment progress and ensuring compliance with agency policies and regulations.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Randolph Behavioral Center, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your role will involve working with patients facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and grief, particularly within the context of hospice care. This unique focus will enhance your clinical skills and sensitivity to the complexities of mental health within end-of-life contexts.

• An active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients, underscoring strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity, enabling effective work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to timely documentation and compliance with treatment protocols.

• Experience in a hospice or palliative care setting is strongly preferred, as it enriches your understanding of the particular challenges faced by clients at the end of life.
• Prior involvement in community mental health initiatives, demonstrations of outreach efforts, or educational programming is advantageous.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote client engagement techniques will be beneficial in utilizing our digital platforms effectively.
