Position Overview

Compassion Elevated Therapy is actively seeking a skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic and dedicated team in Fort Lee, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and developing personalized treatment plans for patients suffering from musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. You will play an instrumental role in restoring your patients' mobility and functionality, profoundly impacting their recovery and overall quality of life.

Work Environment

You will work on-site at our fully furnished Rehabilitation Center located in Fort Lee, known for its supportive and collaborative culture. Operating under a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will engage directly with patients and staff, allowing for a rich environment of learning and sharing knowledge. Our facility is designed not only for efficiency but also to promote patient comfort and well-being, fostering meaningful interactions that lead to optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to establish a baseline for treatment.
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s unique needs and progress.
  • Utilize evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to enhance recovery outcomes.
  • Document patient progress meticulously using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide integrated care and support.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation protocols, and home exercise programs to encourage compliance.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and orthopedic care through continuous professional development and training.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and age-related musculoskeletal disorders. Our goal is to empower patients by providing comprehensive rehabilitation strategies that meet their specific challenges and goals.

Qualifications
  • Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a higher degree (Master’s or Doctorate) from an accredited program is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic assessment and treatment techniques is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage your caseload efficiently while maintaining a patient-centered focus.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, particularly in outpatient and rehabilitative settings.

Compensation and Benefits
