Compassion Elevated Therapy is actively searching for a skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our passionate and knowledgeable team at our rehabilitation center located in Port Elizabeth, New Jersey. Work Environment

Located in the vibrant coastal town of Port Elizabeth, New Jersey, our rehabilitation center features state-of-the-art facilities equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The center fosters collaboration among a multidisciplinary team, creating an environment conducive to professional growth and patient-centered care. As a Physical Therapist, you will work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for predictable scheduling and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, taking into account their medical history and personal goals.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, while adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient response.
  • Maintain comprehensive daily electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring all patient progress and treatment notes are accurately documented.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Regularly evaluate patients’ progress and modify treatment approaches based on their recovery trajectory and feedback.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to physical therapy practice, maintaining compliance at all times.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, and rehabilitating from injuries. You will also engage with a variety of patient demographics, including adults and seniors, ensuring that each individual receives tailored care aimed at restoring mobility and enhancing quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Current and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
  • At least two years of professional experience in settings such as orthopedic, geriatric, acute care, or outpatient environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic assessment techniques and intervention strategies, with a strong focus on patient care planning.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
Preferred Experience
  • Expertise in advanced orthopedic treatment techniques, including post-operative rehabilitation and functional mobility training.
  • Familiarity with the latest technologies in physical therapy, such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic exercise equipment.
  • Experience in developing community outreach programs aimed at promoting wellness and injury prevention would be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
