• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health needs and provide tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group counseling.
• Document clinical progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across various disciplines, such as physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health, coping strategies, and resources available to them.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health care.

As an LCSW at Compassion Care Counseling, you will work primarily with individuals undergoing detoxification and experiencing a range of mental health issues such as substance use disorders, anxiety, and depression. Your skills will be vital in helping these patients navigate through their challenges, promoting recovery and mental wellness while facilitating their reintegration into society.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid LCSW license in the state of Kansas.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy and familiarity with various therapeutic techniques.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.

• Previous experience working in a detox or substance use treatment setting.
• Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient information and documentation.
