This position is onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation center in Richmond, Virginia, which is designed to provide a supportive and therapeutic atmosphere for both patients and staff. • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions by reviewing medical histories, performing functional assessments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, incorporating patient input and family involvement to establish measurable goals.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy treatments, utilizing a variety of modalities and techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, recognizing the need for plan adjustments and providing clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
• Engage in effective discharge planning, ensuring that patients leave with a comprehensive follow-up care plan.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and contribute to the achievement of center-wide goals through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Remain abreast of changes in healthcare practices and standards to ensure compliance and the delivery of superior patient care.
• Promote best practices for patient access and experience, including engagement in outreach initiatives that facilitate community wellness.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid state license for practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers) is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients and healthcare providers.

While a minimum of two years of experience is preferred, new graduates with a strong academic background and a commitment to excellence in patient care will also be considered. We value enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth.
