Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for each client, focusing on their unique experiences and circumstances.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, engaging in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to address various mental health issues.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions for families and individuals, strengthening their interpersonal relationships and fostering a supportive community.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care by sharing insights and strategies that enhance client wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring that documentation supports continuity of care.
  • Participate in regular professional development workshops to stay informed of advancements in mental health practices and techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Frontier Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals and families who may have historically faced challenges in accessing mental health care. This includes, but is not limited to, those dealing with trauma, substance misuse, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Your role is to empower clients through individualized support and facilitate their journey towards healing and self-discovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Georgia is mandatory.
  • At least two years of experience in the field of counseling, particularly within a clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, dependent on experience and caseload.
