Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations to formulate individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery, fostering a team-oriented approach to client treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring adherence to confidentiality protocols.
• Engage in continuous professional development, including attending workshops and staying informed on the latest mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds who may be experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring that these individuals receive high-quality and effective treatment tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting, is essential.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical frameworks governing counseling practices is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse client populations.

Preferred Experience
