Our innovative remote work setting allows clinical social workers to operate outside of traditional office boundaries. This position requires engagement with school staff, parents, and community resources via virtual platforms and telehealth technology. You will participate in school-based meetings and collaborate with educators to create integrated support plans for students, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of services.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with students experiencing various mental health challenges.
• Assess clients' needs; develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients facing acute mental health issues, such as suicidal thoughts or severe anxiety.
• Facilitate family therapy or consultations with parents to address systemic issues impacting the child’s mental health.
• Advocate for clients to connect them with necessary resources, including educational accommodations, community services, and financial aid.
• Participate in workshops and educational sessions to raise mental health awareness within the school community.
• Document and maintain accurate, timely records of clinical assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines.

The ideal candidate will work predominantly with children, adolescents, and their families within a school environment. We serve a diverse client population, including those facing challenges such as learning disabilities, behavioral issues, family crises, and mental health disorders. The role is pivotal in promoting emotional resilience and academic success among students.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of Georgia, allowing independent practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele, focusing on cultural competence and inclusion.
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating effective therapeutic strategies tailored for children and adolescents.
• Reliable familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual communication tools to deliver remote therapy services effectively.

• At least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience, particularly in school settings or with youth populations.
• Demonstrated capability in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and family systems theory.
• Experience collaborating with educators and healthcare providers to create holistic support for clients.
• Knowledge of local community resources and support services relevant to children and families.
