This full-time position will primarily operate in a remote capacity, serving clients through our community health clinic based in Memphis, Tennessee. This role will allow for a flexible work setting, where you can provide remote counseling services to clients, promoting work-life balance while maintaining a strong impact on their lives. As part of our outpatient counseling center, you will set appointments with clients, allowing them to choose times that best fit their schedules. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to accurately determine the appropriate treatment needs and create personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing diverse methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Engage actively with multidisciplinary teams, incorporating insights and recommendations from psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to offer holistic, integrated care to clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring compliance with all ethical standards and legal requirements to uphold the highest level of professionalism.
• Access continuous professional development through workshops, training, and current research to remain at the forefront of emerging trends and best practices in mental health.

You will work primarily with individuals facing various emotional and psychological challenges, including trauma, substance abuse issues, and relationship difficulties. By providing a safe and validating environment, you will guide clients in exploring their feelings, developing coping strategies, and achieving their personal goals resulting in improved mental health and well-being.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Tennessee is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services, ideally in a clinical setting, is essential.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counselor practice is necessary.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Specializations in trauma-informed care, substance abuse treatment, family therapy, or couples counseling are highly desirable.
• Experience working within an electronic medical record (EMR) system is preferred, to streamline clinical documentation and improve operational efficiency.
• A history of collaborative work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team will be advantageous in fulfilling the role's responsibilities effectively.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, based on your caseload and experience.
