Alcentra Counseling LTD is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team as a full-time member in our remote community health clinic based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. • Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique needs of clients, and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and challenges.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, providing the necessary tools and strategies to overcome obstacles and improve relationships.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and solution-focused approaches to address a wide array of mental health issues.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed, demonstrating strong decision-making skills while assisting clients through acute situations.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers, to ensure that clients receive comprehensive care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation to comply with both organizational and regulatory requirements, ensuring patient confidentiality and quality care.
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews, contributing to collective learning and ongoing professional development activities.

This position involves working with a diverse array of clients facing emotional and relational difficulties. You will serve individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds, who may be struggling with issues ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship conflicts and trauma-related challenges. Your role will be pivotal in helping them navigate their circumstances and work towards meaningful change.

• An active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in good standing in Tennessee.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health or outpatient settings, illustrating a solid foundational practice.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, with demonstrated skills in direct clinical practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, enhancing the documentation process.

• Experience working with clients who have a history of trauma or complex mental health conditions.
• Prior involvement in multidisciplinary teams focusing on integrated care.
• Knowledge of local resources and community services that can support client needs.
