Alcentra Counseling LTD is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team as a full-time member in our remote community health clinic based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique needs of clients, and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and challenges.
  • Facilitate engaging therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, providing the necessary tools and strategies to overcome obstacles and improve relationships.
  • Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and solution-focused approaches to address a wide array of mental health issues.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed, demonstrating strong decision-making skills while assisting clients through acute situations.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers, to ensure that clients receive comprehensive care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation to comply with both organizational and regulatory requirements, ensuring patient confidentiality and quality care.
  • Participate in team meetings and case reviews, contributing to collective learning and ongoing professional development activities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position involves working with a diverse array of clients facing emotional and relational difficulties. Qualifications
  • An active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in good standing in Tennessee.
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health or outpatient settings, illustrating a solid foundational practice.
