Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services, utilizing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and family therapy techniques for individuals and groups.
  • Collaborate regularly with case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring appropriate referrals and follow-up care.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives that increase awareness about mental health challenges and available resources, promoting a sense of belonging and support for individuals and families.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and various other mental health concerns. You will approach this population with cultural competence, utilizing strategies that respect and respond to their varying backgrounds, experiences, and needs.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
  • A master’s degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for establishing rapport with clients and building effective therapeutic relationships.
  • Cultural competence, with a demonstrated ability to work sensitively and effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, is a must.
