This role is performed in a remote setting, allowing for flexible working arrangements while contributing to a supportive professional community. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and challenges.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies tailored to each client’s unique situation.
• Facilitate therapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques to effectively engage with clients—whether in individual, couples, or family settings.
• Support clients in articulating their personal goals and tracking their progress towards achieving these milestones.
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Participate in professional development initiatives to stay current on the latest practices in mental health care and contribute to a culture of excellence within the clinic.

Your clients will consist of diverse populations, reflecting various backgrounds, age groups, and mental health concerns. You will be tasked with providing compassionate care to individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other behavioral health challenges. Your ability to cultivate trust and understanding will be essential in helping clients feel safe and supported during their therapeutic journey.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current, active LCMHC license in the state of Vermont.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working within a mental health counseling setting.
• Demonstrated experience with diverse client populations and a commitment to culturally competent care.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices and the ability to adapt techniques to suit varying client needs.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and a talent for building rapport and relationships with clients.
• Ability to work independently while collaboratively contributing to team initiatives.

Experience with teletherapy or remote counseling practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with client management software and record-keeping systems will also enhance your ability to perform effectively in this role. An enthusiasm for professional growth through additional training or certifications in specialized areas of mental health may set you apart as a candidate.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
