• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to gain insights into clients' mental health needs, developing personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for a diverse clientele, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote shared experiences and healing among participants, and conduct family therapy to enhance familial relationships and resolve conflicts.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure compliance with state regulations and ethical standards, while continuously monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with the latest mental health research and best practices.

The LPC will work with a diverse array of clients, including adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Many of our clients have limited access to traditional mental health services, making your role vital in providing the support and guidance necessary for them to improve their quality of life.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of ethical and legal standards pertaining to mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, ensuring coordinated client care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and related documentation processes.

• Specialization or advanced training in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.
