Artemis is seeking a Senior Communications Marketing Strategist to plan the strategic direction and development of comprehensive marketing campaigns in support of the clientโ€™s programs and services. This role shapes campaign strategy, messaging, and audience targeting to build awareness and engagement across business-to-business and government-to-business audiences.

The Senior Communications Marketing Strategist role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in planning and executing comprehensive business-to-business and government-to-business marketing campaigns. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude.

This is a contingent hire position. Offers will be contingent upon client approval, ability to meet security requirements, and the ability to adhere to any on-site requirements (which may change at contract award).

Remote work is anticipated. However, all candidates should be local to the Washington, DC metro area as on-site work may be required.


  • Plan the strategic direction and development of comprehensive business-to-business and government-to-business marketing campaigns.
  • Develop messaging frameworks and campaign strategies that align with program goals and audience needs.
  • Coordinate across functional teams to ensure clear, consistent, and on-brand messaging.
  • Analyze audience, market, and performance data to refine campaign approach.
  • Translate program objectives into actionable marketing and outreach plans.
  • Advise stakeholders on marketing strategy and emerging communications trends.

  • 5 years of demonstrated experience planning the strategic direction and development of comprehensive business-to-business or government-to-business marketing campaigns.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in messaging frameworks, audience targeting, and campaign strategy.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance/DHS suitability determination.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally.
