Position Specific Summary
The Planet Forward social media and marketing intern will help generate content and buzz about Planet Forward's stories, videos, events, partner schools and more on our social media platforms, and contribute new website content as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Write, create, and schedule Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platform posts; utilize linkin.bio (or similar)
  • Design graphics for social media posts as needed using Canva or Adobe Express
  • Help brainstorm & create creative short videos for social media, leveraging trends
  • Foster community through our social media properties
  • Assist team with press releases and generating marketing ideas to promote student work and our project
  • Assist with events as needed

Standard Position Description
The student will provide assistance in management and planning for print, web, social media, and/or other digital content. Tasks may include: reviewing existing departmental websites and suggest edits, executing a marketing plan, website maintenance, updating and/or developing key materials and opportunities used to promoting departmental expertise and practices, editing or creating videos, and assisting in the management of social media channels, including writing and posting original content. Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific departmental/faculty needs.
