Job description

NuView Health is seeking a board-certified Cardiologist to join our dynamic Tele-Cardiology service line. This is a remote opportunity designed for experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality cardiovascular care through telemedicine.
Summary
As a Telemedicine Cardiologist, you will provide expert consultations and patient management remotely. You will collaborate with onsite medical teams to ensure seamless care delivery across emergency departments and inpatient settings.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify urgent or emergent cardiac issues during virtual visits and initiate appropriate emergency protocols, including referral to emergency services if necessary
  • Conduct virtual cardiology consultations and manage direct patient care, including evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Review patient histories, medical records, and relevant diagnostic tests, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and lab results.
  • Interpret diagnostic studies including EKG's echocardiograms and stress testing
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Refer patients to appropriate specialists and coordinate care, as necessary.
  • Provide clinical guidance to onsite nursing staff and consult with physicians in emergency and inpatient settings.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with hospital-based providers.
  • Accurately document consultations in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Demonstrate excellent remote communication and virtual bedside manner
  • Submit billing charges within billing software as required
Minimum Job Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified in Cardiology (ABIM or equivalent)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Cardiology (telehealth experience a plus).
  • Ability to work 7 shifts a month including a weekend shift per month.
  • Ability to navigate various EMR/EHR systems.
