Job Description

As we continue through a period of explosive growth, HedgeServ is searching for future leaders who can make an immediate impact on our already successful team. We're seeking Financial Service or Hedge Fund professionals with five to eight years of experience who are decisive, energetic, and self-starting.

We expect successful candidates to assume considerable responsibility within 6 months and serve as the main point of contract and escalation point on multiple client relationships, as well as on-board our new clients.

In addition to a focus on relationships, the candidate is expected to be the subject matter expert for all bank loan related topics, must be able to hold conversations with senior Hedge Fund personnel, and actively engage in our internal development initiatives. Their loan product knowledge will be used to input, review, analyze, and process bank loan portfolios, as well as teach and inform our Global bank loan servicing team.

Pre-Requisite Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 5-8 years of hedge fund or similar experience.
  • 5+ years experience closing primary and secondary par and distressed loan trades.
  • 1+ year of managerial experience.
  • Knowledge of syndicated bank loans, loan products, and credit markets.
  • Work experience with loan administration, loan closing (calculating delayed comp and manual pricing letters), or loan servicing (reconciling interest rate changes, advances, rollovers, repayments, interest and fee payments and other loan related activity).
  • Familiarity with loan based software - Clearpar, Wall Street Office, and deal sites.
  • Experience with LSTA/LMA standard documentation and strong knowledge of the LSTA/LMA standard terms and conditions.
  • Proficiency with reading and analyzing Credit Agreements.
