Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services to a diverse caseload of clients, addressing their unique mental health needs through individual, group, and family therapy.
- Design and implement personalized care plans which outline therapeutic strategies rooted in evidence-based practices.
- Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive assessments, ensuring a thorough understanding of each client's situation to formulate an effective treatment approach.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by actively engaging colleagues in multidisciplinary meetings to enhance patient care and improve treatment outcomes.
- Maintain organized documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor client progress through regular evaluations, ensuring they receive timely interventions and necessary adjustments to their care plans.
- Actively participate in agency committees focused on quality improvement and service delivery enhancement.
- Provide on-call support during and after program hours to respond to emergencies and client needs as they arise.
The primary focus of this role will be working with children and adolescents in a school environment who are often experiencing significant emotional and psychological challenges. You will engage with families and educators to coordinate care that addresses not only the mental health aspects but also situational factors affecting the child's well-being. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in ensuring students flourish both in their education and personal development.
Qualifications- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program, with a valid LICSW license in Washington State.
- Strong understanding of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment interventions specific to children and adolescents.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective interactions with clients, families, and educational staff.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and a comprehensive understanding of relevant codes of conduct.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly working with children in educational settings or community health environments.
- Prior experience in crisis intervention, managing acute mental health situations effectively.
- Familiarity with integrating behavioral health services into educational frameworks.
The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
