Job Summary:

 

This is not your typical sales role. As a Clinical Business Development Representative, you’ll be a trusted advisor and connector—someone who bridges the gap between General Dentists and our network of Specialists. You’ll educate General Dentists, both existing and new customers, on clinical offerings, build long-term referral relationships, and help elevate the standard of care through education and access.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Educate General Dentists on the benefits of ZimVie dental implants and restorative workflows
  • Coordinate and host educational events, lunch-and-learns and study club events to build awareness and grow adoption of ZimVie usage in your market
  • Serve as a trusted clinical liaison to shift referral patterns of General Dentists to our network of  Specialty providers
  • Provide chairside restorative support and hands-on demonstrations to improve clinical competencies while increasing implant case acceptance
  • Work collaboratively with both the ZimVie Corporate and Commercial Sales Teams on all activities the help drive the success
  • Track outreach activity, referral growth, and relationship milestones using CRM tools
  • Stay informed on clinical advancements, competitor offerings, and market trends

 

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e., knowledge, skills and abilities)

  • Strong understanding of the dental referral landscape and the value of interdisciplinary care
  • Extensive implant dentistry and dental market knowledge
  • Experience engaging with doctors and clinical teams in a variety of settings
  • Passion for educating and empowering providers with relevant clinical information
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment and communicate regularly with internal stakeholders
  • Understanding of ZimVie’s products, dental industry, and competitor’s products and strategies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

 

Education/Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a clinical dental role such as hygienist, office manager or implant treatment coordinator
  • Or 2+ years’ experience in a dental sales role
  • Associate’s degree or higher in business, marketing, health sciences or related field

Travel Requirements

 

  • 20%
