Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and evaluate the mental health status of patients, utilizing appropriate clinical tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), to formulate effective, individualized care plans.
  • Monitor progress through ongoing assessments and implement therapeutic interventions to support the mental health treatment objectives effectively.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive treatment records, reports, and clinical documentation in accordance with department procedures, utilizing the latest technology for efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with patients and their families to create robust treatment plans, addressing their unique needs and goals, while taking cultural diversity into account.
  • Foster patient safety by proactively identifying areas of concern and implementing strategies for symptom management, ensuring an understanding of clinical responsibilities within a teamwork framework.
  • Act as a liaison for patients by coordinating referrals to other healthcare providers and maintaining strong professional relationships with referral agencies.
  • Provide training and mentorship to students, interns, and volunteers, contributing to the development of future mental health professionals.
  • Contribute to team development through collaborative efforts, including clinical review, auditing, coaching, and mentoring, always directed by the clinical supervisor.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves youth and their families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Your role will be vital in delivering effective, age-appropriate therapeutic interventions through individual and family therapy sessions, focused on fostering resilience and promoting mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and a current license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing mental health care, with an understanding of human development stages and cultural competency essential for effective implementation of treatment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with patients and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
