• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance use history and overall mental health, using standardized tools and methods.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address both addiction and any comorbid mental health issues, ensuring holistic care.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic methods to encourage recovery and engagement.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide comprehensive integrated care.
• Educate and involve clients’ families in the recovery process, creating an inclusive atmosphere that promotes understanding and healing.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in strict compliance with federal and state regulations and organizational policies.

The therapist will primarily work with clients who are confronting substance use disorders and may also be dealing with co-occurring mental health challenges. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face unique circumstances surrounding their addiction, so empathy, cultural competency, and a tailored approach to therapy are essential.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling.
• Understanding of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Strong therapeutic skills along with the ability to motivate and support clients effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Experience working in an outpatient or inpatient treatment setting.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Additional certifications related to substance abuse counseling or mental health.

Our compensation package includes an annual salary between USD 120,000 and 140,000. In addition, new hires will receive a generous sign-on bonus of $3,000.
