In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients using video conferencing technology to address their mental health concerns effectively.
• Guide clients in exploring their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, assisting them in gaining insight into their mental health and relationships.
• Serve as an advocate for your clients by actively aiding them in identifying and defining their therapeutic goals.
• Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations and formulate evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Utilize a solution-focused approach in your clinical practice to empower clients and promote positive outcomes.

Your practice will predominantly involve working with a clientele consisting of pre-screened, stable adults presenting with low-acuity mental health issues. This means that you will typically engage with clients experiencing challenges such as anxiety, mild depression, or life transitions, rather than severe mental health crises. Additionally, we prioritize matching you with clients whose needs align with your areas of expertise and preferences, enabling a more effective therapeutic relationship.

• Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and compassion.
• Robust organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively while maintaining a caseload.
• A non-judgmental attitude and dedication to providing quality mental health care.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in teletherapy, knowledge of various evidence-based treatment modalities, or specialized training in specific areas such as trauma-informed care or addiction medicine are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, as well as experience in working within community health settings, will also be considered beneficial.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a sign-on bonus of $3,000 for newly hired therapists.
