What is a locum veterinary clinical pathologist?

A Locum Veterinary Clinical Pathologist is a veterinary specialist who temporarily fills in for other clinical pathologists at veterinary hospitals, diagnostic labs, or universities. Their primary role involves analyzing animal blood, tissue, and other bodily samples to diagnose diseases and guide treatment. Locum pathologists often travel to different locations and work on short-term contracts, providing flexibility for both the professional and the employer.
