Position: Veterinary Assistant - Radiology
Location: 2965 Edinger Avenue Tustin, CA 92780
Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (4x10s)
Pay: $20 - $23/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Veterinary Radiology Assistant to join our team in Tustin, CA. This role supports our doctors and technicians with diagnostic imaging, including digital radiographs and CT scans, and plays an important part in patient care and diagnostics.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with digital radiograph (X-ray) acquisition and CT scan procedures
  • Properly position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and low-stress handling during imaging
  • Follow all radiation safety protocols and PPE requirements
  • Prepare and organize imaging studies for review by veterinarians
  • Assist with patient restraint, sedation prep, and monitoring as directed
  • Maintain accurate medical and imaging records
  • Keep imaging equipment and work areas clean, stocked, and functional

Qualifications
  • Prior veterinary assistant experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with radiology and/or CT imaging a plus
  • Ability to safely handle patients of varying sizes and temperaments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty and emergency environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in advanced veterinary imaging
