Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose mental health issues when necessary, and evaluate patients’ statuses using standardized tools, like the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
  • Create individualized care plans that are culturally sensitive and tailored to the unique needs of each patient, incorporating strategies for success and symptom management.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide collaborative, integrated care aimed at improving patient outcomes.
  • Regularly assess patient progress and implement evidence-based interventions to support mental health treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements, employing current technology for efficiency.
  • Facilitate referrals and coordinate with other treatment providers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Engage in educational endeavors, providing mentorship to students, interns, and other emerging professionals in the field.
  • Under supervision, participate in peer-to-peer reviews, chart audits, and team-building activities to enhance professional development and team dynamics.

Qualifications
