Marketing Specialist Temp-to-hire 100% remote Pay Range: $29-$31.25/hr. The marketing Specialist owns the post?purchase communication journey for large?scale live and virtual events. From enrollment through event day, this role ensures participants are informed, prepared, and fully engaged at every stage.

This is a strategic, operational role—not a basic email marketing position—focused on delivering a seamless, high?impact experience at scale. This role designs and manages complex, multi?channel communication campaigns that span 100+ days, multiple audience segments, and thousands of participants. The specialist works cross?functionally with Sales, Marketing, Creative, IT, Logistics, and Client Services teams while managing multiple concurrent event campaigns.

The ideal candidate is a systems?driven marketer who thrives in structured complexity, moves with urgency, and maintains precision under pressure. Key Responsibilities Design and execute multi?phase lifecycle communication strategies across email, SMS, messaging platforms, and client portals Build advanced audience segmentation based on purchase behavior, timing, engagement history, and acquisition source Develop structured communication plans that guide participants from enrollment through attendance Implement dynamic messaging logic and suppression rules to optimize engagement and avoid over?communication Manage 4–6 concurrent event campaigns with complex timelines and dependencies Build, QA, schedule, and monitor automated workflows in platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or similar tools Manage approvals, timelines, deliverables, and translation workflows when required Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and timeline changes to meet critical event milestones Serve as a central point of coordination across Sales, Marketing, Creative, IT, Logistics, and Client Services Create detailed briefs outlining communication objectives, audience segments, messaging cadences, and calls to action Ensure communication strategy aligns with operational execution and event logistics Data, Optimization & Process Improvement Track and analyze campaign performance metrics including open rates, click?through rates, scheduling conversions, and attendance trends Refine segmentation, messaging cadence, and workflows based on performance insights Reduce client service inquiries through proactive, clear, and timely communications Document best practices and support scalable lifecycle communication systems Contribute to ongoing improvements in CRM, automation tools, and operational processes Requirements 3–6 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM campaign management, event communications, or a related role Proven experience managing large?scale, multi?channel campaigns Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or similar CRM/automation platforms Experience using project management tools such as Asana Strong analytical, reporting, and optimization skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with multilingual communications is a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environment Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
