Grace Place Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups. Our outpatient office setting is designed to facilitate easy communication among team members while maintaining a focus on client outcomes.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and understand clients' mental health conditions, utilizing evidence-based tools to formulate accurate clinical diagnoses.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and therapeutic goals of each client, using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based therapies.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, adapting techniques and interventions to suit the dynamics and needs of the participants.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and stability.
• Document client treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results meticulously and confidentially, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal regulations.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring a holistic approach for clients.
• Engage in public education on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, advocating for clients’ rights and needs as necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in mental health practices through participation in continuous training and professional development opportunities.

The clients served by Grace Place Counseling Center represent a full spectrum of mental health needs, ranging from those coping with anxiety and depression to individuals seeking support in navigating life transitions or familial conflicts. Our therapist’s approach emphasizes culturally sensitive care, adapting methods to fit the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients. • Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C).
• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are essential for successful performance in this role.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant field is required, showcasing a proven track record in therapeutic practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team framework.
• A strong commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in practice.

• While prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred, entry-level qualified candidates with the right educational background are also encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a strong desire to implement them into client care.
• Experience in providing telehealth services is a plus given the remote nature of this position.
