ClassLink is seeking a Director of Sales, K–12 (California Territory) to support and grow our presence within California school districts. This individual contributor role focuses on building trusted relationships with district-level instructional, curriculum, and technology leaders across the state. You will engage key stakeholders, articulate the instructional and operational value of ClassLink, and support successful district adoption throughout California.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the unique structure, priorities, and purchasing dynamics of California K–12 districts and can effectively translate classroom and district needs into meaningful technology solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Become an expert on ClassLink
  • Make introductions with curriculum and technology leaders at the district level
  • Schedule online and onsite meetings with key decision makers
  • Confidently conduct demonstrations of ClassLink
  • Help develop positive relationships between ClassLink and influential partner organizations with named accounts in California.
  • Help achieve successful implementations of ClassLink
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and partners

Requirements
  • Candidate must reside in the state of California
  • 5+ years experience in a senior consultative/selling role
  • 5+ years experience in classroom, school/district leadership role
  • Extensive knowledge of K12 edtech marketplace
  • Unwavering passion to improve classroom learning and pedagogy
  • Bachelor degree required, Masters or post grad degree a plus
  • Work from home and willingness to travel throughout California
  • Ability to travel 30-40%
  • Ability to attend conferences, dinners and meetings which may require travel on weekends and/or evenings
