Job Opening: Americas Area Management Team Manager
Location: Remote (Americas Area)
Department: Youth for Christ Americas Area Leadership Team
Position Type: Full-time (100% support-raising position)
Reports to: Americas Area Director

Position Overview
The Management Team Manager plays a critical leadership role in ensuring strong stewardship, sustainable fundraising growth, healthy staff systems, and clear, mission-driven communication across the Americas Area.
This role also serves as a key bridge between the Area Management Team and the Americas Area Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and support the following roles:
    • Area Financial Manager
    • Fundraiser
    • Human Resources Coordinator
    • Communications Coordinator
  • Provide regular performance feedback and coaching
  • Foster collaboration, unity, and team cohesion
  • Support planning, decision-making, and problem-solving

Operational Oversight
  • Ensure consistent reporting from all coordinators
  • Strengthen organizational systems and processes
  • Promote effective stewardship of resources

Strategic Communication
  • Serve as liaison between the Management Team and the Americas Area Leadership Team
  • Communicate insights, needs, and impact stories to leadership
  • Contribute to strategic alignment across the Area

Ministry Partnership Development
  • Develop and maintain a personal network of prayer and financial partners
  • Raise 100% of personal salary support in collaboration with leadership

Additional Duties
  • Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the Area Director
  • Maintain a healthy balance between ministry, family, and personal life

Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrate spiritual maturity and Christian leadership
  • Degree in Business Administration, Management, Nonprofit Leadership, or related field
  • Proven ability to lead teams and develop leaders
  • Strong strategic thinking and cross-cultural competency
  • Experience managing organizational growth and change
  • Relational, adaptable, and results-oriented

Requirements
  • Committed evangelical Christian
  • Active member of a local evangelical church
  • Pastoral reference letter required
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) / resumé required
  • English proficiency (minimum C1 level)
  • Experience within a Youth for Christ chapter (preferred, not required)

  • Reports directly to the Area Director
  • Member of the Americas Area Leadership Team
  • Participates in:
    • Written reports
    • Virtual meetings
    • In-person gatherings
    • One-on-one meetings with the Area Director
