Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, delivering personalized mental health support either in-home or at our outpatient center.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic interventions focused on anger management, social skills enhancement, and coping strategies to mitigate high-risk behaviors.
  • Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to create cohesive support networks around youths and their families.
  • Document all necessary client interactions, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and timely submission.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and make recommendations for improving service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at New Life Solutions Clinic, you will primarily work with children and adolescents aged 3-20 who are experiencing developmental and intellectual disabilities. Your role will involve advocating for and supporting their families, ensuring that every child receives the compassionate care and resources they need to thrive. The unique challenges faced by this population demand a tailored therapeutic approach that you will help develop and implement.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LMFT license, in compliance with state regulations.
  • Availability for 5-10 hours per week during late afternoons and evenings, particularly between 4-7 PM, with flexibility for weekend appointments.
  • Experience in positive behavior support and effective behavioral interventions.
  • A valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for potential home visits.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous work with children and adolescents who have intellectual or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Experience in providing in-home therapy or coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
Compensation and Benefits
