Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office located in Immokalee, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, considering their medical history and specific orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with rehabilitation goals and enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and effective home exercise regimens to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share insights for a holistic approach to patient well-being.
• Document patient care, maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with healthcare regulations and clinic standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to discussions regarding patient care improvements and clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic conditions, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal concerns. You will engage with a diverse clientele ranging from adolescent athletes to elderly individuals looking to regain mobility and independence. Your expertise will empower patients to overcome their challenges and achieve their physical therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the Florida Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two (2) years of hands-on experience in an orthopedic physical therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification demonstrating knowledge of basic life support techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a commitment to continuing education for professional development.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
