Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental delays and establish their needs.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring the engagement of families in all aspects of the planning process.
  • Monitor client outcomes and progress as part of a multidisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote developmental success.
  • Develop rapport with children and their families, offering empathetic support and creating a nurturing environment for assessment and intervention.
  • Advise and educate families on strategies that enhance their child's development through home-based practices and natural environments.
  • Adhere to all federal and state regulations, maintaining compliance with the highest standards of practice in early childhood intervention.
  • Utilize coaching models to provide training and resources to families, ensuring they feel empowered in their roles as caretakers.
  • Document all findings, treatment plans, and family interactions clearly and thoroughly to maintain accurate records consistent with organizational policies.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with team members and external partners to ensure comprehensive care for children and families.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on infants and toddlers, particularly those experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. Our aim is to support these young clients and their families through customized intervention programs that aid in critical areas of development, including physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and communicative skills.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure from the Department of Public Health, specifically as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A valid driver's license to facilitate travel for home-based visits when necessary.
  • Proficiency in adapting therapeutic approaches to meet diverse learning styles and individual treatment needs.
  • Minimum of one year of direct experience working with children in early intervention contexts.
