This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 80,000 yearly and the opportunity to contribute to vital community health efforts.

About the Organization

Located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the Mind Wealth Wellness Center is a pioneering organization focused on providing holistic care to marginalized populations. Our mission centers on empowering individuals to realize their potential, fostering a workplace that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. We prioritize creating a supportive environment where all employees can thrive, drawing on their unique experiences to enrich our community and the services we offer.

Work Environment

This role will be conducted in a remote setting, enabling flexibility while still ensuring you are well-supported by a collaborative team. Our community health clinic operates with commitment and care, focusing on the youngest members of our society. Regular communication and teamwork are vital, as you will coordinate closely with colleagues and families to achieve the best outcomes for the children we serve.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Mind Wealth Wellness Center, you will:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to identify their developmental needs.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to the unique needs of each child.

  • Build trusting relationships with children and their families, providing support and guidance to enhance learning and developmental opportunities.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to recommend strategies that align with the Natural Learning Environment Practices.
  • Implement IFSPs, ensuring services are delivered according to the frequency recommended based on each child’s developmental status.
  • Educate families about skills and strategies to support their child’s development, empowering them through coaching and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal and State regulations, safeguarding the health and well-being of the families and children you serve.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will involve supporting infants and toddlers who experience disabilities or developmental delays. You will work closely with families from diverse backgrounds to help guide them through the early intervention process, making a significant impact on the lives of children in their most formative years.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW issued by the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver's license to ensure efficient transportation during home visits.
  • Strong adaptability to cater to a variety of learning styles and needs in the context of individualized treatment planning.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A respectful demeanor towards colleagues and clients, promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Conviction in the principles of Natural Learning Environment Practices, demonstrated through past work and commitment.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualification includes one year of experience working with children in early intervention, candidates with bilingual capabilities are encouraged to apply. This could greatly benefit our communication with families and enhance the services provided.
