Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Positive Pathways Counseling Center. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while focusing on providing high-quality therapeutic support to children and adolescents experiencing various mental health challenges. The successful candidate will hold a valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT, and will play a crucial role in fostering the mental well-being of our young clients.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement tailored treatment plans that are responsive to each client's developmental stage and family context.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at educating and supporting parents and caregivers in creating a positive and understanding home environment.
  • Work collaboratively with our team of child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to provide cohesive and holistic client care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services for clients facing mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring best practices in patient care.
  • Actively participate in case consultations and professional development activities to keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.
Patient Population / Client Focus
