Regenerative Medical Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist specializing in child and adolescent care to join our remote team based in Buffalo, New York. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in providing therapeutic support and intervention for young patients facing various mental health challenges. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the overall well-being of the children and adolescents we serve.

  • Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to mental health care, enhancing the overall treatment plan.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, helping to stabilize situations and ensure the safety of children and their families.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to foster understanding and cooperation.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to maintain confidentiality and provide accurate client records.
  • Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and collaborating on best practices for patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 who are experiencing diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral issues. You will be working closely with both the young individuals themselves and their families, delivering culturally sensitive care that respects the family's values and needs. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving emotional regulation, resilience, and overall mental health outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
  • Strong knowledge of developmental psychology as it relates to child and adolescent populations, along with proficiency in therapeutic modalities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong empathetic nature, allowing you to effectively engage and establish trust with clients.
  • Ability to utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team to provide holistic care.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focusing on child and adolescent therapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
