What is a Remote Checkpoint Firewall?

A Remote Checkpoint Firewall refers to the use of Check Point firewall technology to protect networks and endpoints that are not physically located within the organization's main office, often managed and monitored remotely. Check Point firewalls are security devices or software that control incoming and outgoing network traffic based on predetermined security rules. When deployed remotely, these firewalls help secure remote offices, branch locations, or remote workers by ensuring their network traffic is protected and compliant with company policies. Remote management allows IT teams to update configurations, monitor security events, and enforce security policies from a central location, enhancing security and operational efficiency.
