Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will take on a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the mental well-being of your clients. Your primary duties will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, focusing on fostering improvements in clients' mental health.
• Encouraging clients to openly discuss their emotions and life experiences, facilitating their journey towards greater self-understanding and improved relationships.
• Acting as a dedicated advocate for your clients, guiding them to define meaningful personal goals and collaboratively working towards achieving them.
• Evaluating clients’ mental health status, and developing customized treatment plans utilizing a solution-focused approach grounded in your clinical knowledge and methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will primarily consist of individuals who have been prescreened and exhibit low acuity, making your role even more impactful. You will focus on providing high-quality care to stable clients who are seeking therapeutic support to enhance their mental health, thereby making your interventions essential to their well-being.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent mental health license issued by the state of Washington, specifically one of the following:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
• The ability to make informed and ethical professional evaluations, decisions, and recommendations for effective treatment planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills characterized by empathy and the ability to connect with clients on a personal level.
• Proficiency in using modern technology and digital tools necessary for remote counseling.

Preferred Experience

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate exceptional skills in therapeutic interventions, preferably with experience in remote counseling platforms, and a passion for helping clients achieve their mental health goals. Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with culturally competent care practices are also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position includes:

• A competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 per year, based on the number of hours worked.
