Job Overview:
  • Responsible for providing AMS support, incident management, operational support, and functional expertise for Cerner healthcare systems in large healthcare environments while ensuring SLA and KPI-based service delivery.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Experience performing AMS support for large healthcare organizations.
  • Experience with SLA and KPI-based delivery models.
  • Experience with ITIL and SCRUM-based operations and project delivery.
  • Strong functional knowledge across Cerner modules and healthcare workflows.
  • Experience in delivery roles supporting large US healthcare environments.

Experience:

  • Experience supporting Cerner Registration and ADT modules.
  • Experience with Charge Services and Patient Accounting modules.
  • Experience supporting clinical modules including FirstNet, CareAware, and Nursing.
  • Experience with ancillary systems such as PathNet, RadNet, and Pharmacy modules.
  • Experience with Cerner Core Security including access, roles, and audits.
  • Experience with ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management processes.
  • Experience handling P1 and P2 incidents and leading root cause analysis activities.
  • Experience with SLA and SLO tracking and operational reporting.
  • Experience with knowledge management and incident trend reduction initiatives.
  • Experience supporting on-call and after-hours operational coverage models.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide AMS operational and project support for Cerner healthcare applications.
  • Support incident resolution, service requests, and operational troubleshooting activities.
  • Manage and resolve P1 and P2 incidents while coordinating root cause analysis activities.
  • Track and report SLA and KPI performance metrics.
  • Support ITIL-based Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management processes.
  • Prepare and present root cause analysis documentation and operational reports.
  • Support knowledge management initiatives and incident trend reduction activities.
  • Manage user access, security roles, and audit-related activities within Cerner systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders and technical teams to ensure service quality and operational stability.
  • Participate in on-call and after-hours support activities as required.
