Job description

Interventional Radiology Technologist

Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 2 single plane (GE) and 2 biplane rooms (Philips) Number of Staff – 15 techs currently plus manager and Data/Quality Analyst; nursing support for each room as well. Type of staff: Day Shift – 2 techs per room, 1 nurse per room Night Shift – 1 tech and 1 RN onsite Patient Ratios – 1:1 Type of equipment – single plane = GE; biplane = Philips. Also have one Invasive CT scanner in the department. EMR – Cerner (Radnet)

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Previous Interventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate) Previous neurointerventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate) Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Vascular OR experience Cath Lab experience VI Registered List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams), neph tubes, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, Inari cases Cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, vertebroplasties Best personality Fit: Flexible, great team player REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS Floating Area(s): VOR Dress Code : Scrub Color/Attire - hospital provided Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines Weekends and On call(if any) Every 7th weekend One night secondary call during the week
