Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Shift
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist with previous experience in interventional radiology and neurointerventional procedures. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the practice of both scrubbing and circulating within the Interventional Radiology suite.
Unit Information
  • Number of Beds: 2 single plane (GE) and 2 biplane rooms (Philips)
  • Staffing: 15 technicians, including a manager and a data/quality analyst; nursing support available for each room
  • Staffing Ratios:
    • Day Shift: 2 techs per room, 1 nurse per room
    • Night Shift: 1 tech and 1 RN onsite
  • Equipment: GE single plane, Philips biplane, and an Invasive CT scanner
  • EMR System: Cerner (Radnet)
Typical Procedures
  • Dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams)
  • Neph tubes, arteriograms/embolizations
  • Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, Inari cases
  • Cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines
  • Mechanical thrombectomies, vertebroplasties
Qualifications
  • Required:
    • Previous interventional radiology experience (scrub and circulate)
    • Previous neurointerventional radiology experience (scrub and circulate)
  • Preferred:
    • Vascular OR experience
    • Cath Lab experience
Certification Requirements
  • BLS Certification

Additional Information
  • Work Schedule: Every 7th weekend and one night secondary on-call during the week
  • Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs
