Application Analyst - Oracle PathNet & RadNet
Pay Range: $55/hour to $65/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst with expertise in Oracle Health PathNet (Laboratory) and RadNet (Radiology) systems. This role is responsible for the configuration, support, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of clinical applications supporting laboratory and radiology workflows. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical configuration skills with a solid understanding of clinical operations to ensure efficient, end-to-end system performance across diagnostic departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle PathNet (Laboratory Information System):
  • Configure, build, and maintain PathNet modules including General Laboratory (GenLab), Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Anatomic Pathology
  • Design and maintain laboratory test compendiums, including reference ranges, result formats, and orderable builds
  • Develop and execute system test scripts, validation plans, and audit documentation for upgrades and enhancements
  • Provide ongoing system support, maintenance, and deployment of PathNet components
  • Create and maintain workflow documentation, configuration guides, and technical specifications
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to align system functionality with clinical workflows (specimen processing, order entry, results reporting)
Oracle RadNet (Radiology Information System):
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize RadNet modules supporting scheduling, registration, imaging workflows, and reporting
  • Implement new features, system enhancements, and version upgrades
  • Partner with radiology leadership, technologists, and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Ensure data integrity and support reporting needs for clinical and operational use
  • Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and system documentation
  • Support integrations with PACS (Optum preferred), VNA, and other imaging platforms
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Cerner / Oracle Health applications in a clinical environment
  • Hands-on experience with PathNet and/or RadNet configuration, testing, and support
  • Strong understanding of laboratory and/or radiology workflows and terminology
  • Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience creating documentation, build guides, SOPs, and training materials
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams, IT stakeholders, and operational leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with PACS integrations (Optum preferred) and Vendor Neutral Archives (VNA)
  • Prior experience supporting system upgrades, implementations, or optimizations in healthcare environments
