Ark Financial

Nashville, TN โ€ข Remote

Full-time

Job description

Build. Lead. Transform.ย ย

Thisย isnโ€™tย consulting.ย Itโ€™sย stewardship โ€” of relationships, wealth, and purpose โ€” andย itโ€™sย about building something bigger than yourself.ย ย

As a Captain,ย you'll launch a high-impact fractional family office practice operating as the de facto CFO for 12โ€“15 entrepreneurial families โ€” owning their cash flow, entity strategy, tax planning, and financial decision-making, then scaling to lead a mini-business inside Ark. Youโ€™ll support associates, mentor Captains, and help buildย a client base of 40+ families โ€” driving transformational outcomes for entrepreneurs around the world.ย

This is entrepreneurs serving entrepreneurs โ€” with no ceiling on your impact or your earnings.ย ย

Ifย youโ€™reย ready to work alongside Arkโ€™s executive-driven team, lead from the front, and build something that lasts,ย youโ€™reย in the right place.ย ย

About Ark Financialย

At Ark, we believe every entrepreneurial family deserves more than transactions โ€” they deserve transformation.ย Thatโ€™sย why we built the Family Office Operating System (FOOS), and why we place Captains โ€” not just as planners, but as leaders โ€” at the center of it.ย ย
ย

Your Scoreboard (What Youโ€™re Responsible For):ย

  • Build a portfolioย toย 12โ€“15 high-complexity entrepreneurial family relationships.ย ย

  • Deliver technical execution across estate and succession planning, income and estate tax strategies, risk management analysis, investment coordination, and long-term net worth growth.ย ย

  • Lead monthly Family Office Rhythm meetings (focused on cash flow, net worth updates, initiative tracking, and goal alignment).ย ย

  • Coordinate and align all external advisors (tax, legal, insurance, investment) toward unified family outcomes.ย ย

  • Drive FOOS implementation with clarity, speed, and spiritual integrity.ย ย

  • Scale into leadership: mentor associate Captains and help build a team managing 40+ families.ย

  • Bring CFO-level leadership to complex client cash flow, entity strategy, and financial decision-makingย byย yourย firstย 90 days.ย

What Makes This Role Differentย

This is the most intimate and mission-critical role Ark offers. Captains walk with families through their most vulnerable decisions โ€” wealth transfer, conflict, legacy, and identity. You will not be a task manager. You will be their guide.ย ย

Captainsย leadย with truth and love. They hold space when a family feels unclear and speak boldly when clarity is needed. They coordinate deeply technical planning โ€” but they never forget the real mission: to align every financial decision with the familyโ€™s vision and purpose.ย ย

Youย wonโ€™tย do this alone.ย Youโ€™llย collaborate with Ark Strategists, fellow Captains, and our trusted advisor network โ€” all working toward helping families live with ever greater Protection, Peace, and Purpose.ย ย

What It Feels Like to Workย Withย Youย

  • You bring peace into the room.ย ย

  • You listen deeply, speak with intentionality, and lead without ego.ย ย

  • Your presence is calm, grounded, and quietly authoritative.ย ย

  • Youโ€™reย technically sharp โ€” fluent in complex planning topics (estate, tax, risk, investment) and able to translate them with clarity and humility.ย ย

What Makes You a Fitย

  • Proven CFO, COO, or equivalent operating experience inside a family office, multi-family office, or directly for high-net-worth entrepreneurial familiesย

  • Hands-on tax planning experience for individuals, families, or closely held businesses โ€” including estate and income tax strategy, entity structuring,ย trustย and charitable planning, and tax-loss / QSBS work. Corporate tax compliance alone does not qualify.ย

  • Demonstrated FP&A leadership โ€” cash flow forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and scenario planning across complex multi-entity structuresย

  • Fluency in estate structures (wills, trusts, charitable strategies), risk management, and investment strategy basicsย

  • Track recordย managing multiple HNW client or family relationships simultaneouslyย

Why This Role Is Hardย ย

  • You must blend technical mastery, relational presence, and entrepreneurial rigor.ย ย

  • Youโ€™llย build and steward 12โ€“15ย families atย first โ€” whichย demandsย systems, prioritization, and stamina.ย ย

  • Youโ€™llย scale to lead a 40+ family "book" and support the development of other Captains and associates.ย ย

  • You must lead entrepreneurial clients as peers โ€” with strength, care, and stewardship.ย ย

The FOOS Life โ€” For You Tooย ย

Our best Captainsย donโ€™tย just deliver FOOS. Theyย liveย it.ย ย

Their own cash flow is clear. Their legal and financial affairs are in order. Their family vision is alive and reviewed monthly. They embody the same intentionality they call others to.ย ย

Detailsย

  • Location: Remote (Nashville, TN preferred). Ark Financial is based in Austin, TX.ย

  • Role Type: 1099 contractor (not W-2)ย ย

  • Compensation: Uncapped revenue share modelย ย

  • Draw Option: $100K/year recoverable draw availableย ย

  • No-Draw Option: Higher revenue share (~$60K+ย additionalย upside in the first two years)ย ย

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE):ย ย

  • Year 1: $100Kโ€“$130K (build and ramp phase)ย ย

  • Year 2: $180Kโ€“$235K (established portfolio)ย ย

  • Year 3+: $330K+ (fullyย optimizedย 12โ€“15 family book)ย ย

  • Long-Term Growth:ย ย

  • Captains who scale a 40+ family mini-business can exceed $700K+ annually on the high-growth track (typically by Year 5+).ย ย

  • Start Date: ASAPย ย

What to Do Nextย

This role is for learners. Builders. Leaders who want to stretch and grow while helping families do the same.ย ย

Youโ€™llย see marriages strengthened. Wealth aligned with purpose. Legacy thatโ€™s more than just assets โ€”ย itโ€™sย stewardship in action.ย ย

Ifย youโ€™veย built something thatย matters andย want to help families do the same โ€” send your resume andย a short noteย on why this role is calling your name.ย ย

We move fast.ย Letโ€™sย talk.ย
