Job Title: EngineeringBusiness Development Manager

APC is growing and looking to hire an experienced Engineering Business Development Manager (BDM) responsible for growing our Engineering staffing organization by generating leads, building relationships with clients, and increasing sales.
Position Summary:
As a Engineering Business Development Manager, you will be the face of our company in your designated territory. You will play a crucial role in expanding our client base, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and ultimately driving our sector's revenue growth. This role requires a dynamic, motivated, and sales-driven professional who is passionate about meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. This is an external sales position.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting: Generate new leads and job requirements from existing and new clients through cold calling networking, and social media.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Pitch and Negotiate efficiently, close deals and manage client accounts.
  • Understand clients' needs and shortlist suitable candidates based on location, rates, and technological skills.
  • Forecast revenue from existing & potential clients.
  • Collaborate and partner with recruiting team in identifying, qualifying and working candidates throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base while maintaining our existing customers.
  • Respond to client queries and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 2-10+ years of Staffing Business Development experience in at least one of these industries: Engineering, Oil & Energy, Environmental, EPC.

To be successful, our BDM should have strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, project management, and analytical skills. They should also be flexible, have good time management skills, and be passionate about building & maintaining a solid network of clients.
