Mind Ease Advocate Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Virtual Mental Health Counselor to join our team. In this full-time remote role, you will provide essential psychosocial and behavioral health support to cancer patients at various stages of their journey, from diagnosis through survivorship. You'll engage with clients via telehealth platforms, employing modern tools and technologies to deliver effective counseling interventions. As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychological assessments to establish clients' mental health needs and conditions, ensuring tailored treatment plans.
• Documenting client interactions meticulously, maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment strategies that incorporate both traditional psychotherapy and alternative therapeutic approaches.
• Facilitating support groups and individual sessions, providing a compassionate space for patients to share experiences and coping strategies.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, ensuring seamless communication and integration of services for comprehensive patient care.
• Participating in ongoing professional development initiatives to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

Your primary focus will be on patients confronting the challenges associated with cancer treatment, including emotional distress related to diagnosis, recurrence, and survivorship. You will work closely with patients of diverse backgrounds, providing culturally sensitive care that respects individual experiences and values. Your efforts will contribute significantly to improving patient outcomes and fostering resilience during challenging times.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Active license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party, ensuring the highest standards of professional integrity.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

While not mandatory, experience working with cancer patients or knowledge of oncology treatment processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems will also enhance your effectiveness in this role.

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition, our compensation package includes:
