Job description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for professionals experienced in information systems management, IT leadership, enterprise technology workflows, systems administration oversight, technical operations, and structured IT environment review.

This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on information systems review, IT management workflows, enterprise technology assessment, systems documentation, technical operations analysis, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their IT management expertise to review realistic technology scenarios, evaluate systems-related outputs, prepare structured written feedback, and support accurate, evidence-based information systems workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

Information Systems & IT Management Review

  • Review scenarios involving enterprise information systems, IT operations, systems administration, application environments, and technology management workflows
  • Evaluate technical outputs against business requirements, system constraints, implementation context, and documented review criteria
  • Support structured review of IT process documentation, systems workflows, internal technology plans, access processes, support escalations, and operational materials
  • Identify missing context, process gaps, technical inconsistencies, and expected systems management outcomes

Technology Operations & Workflow Assessment

  • Review materials involving software systems, infrastructure coordination, internal tools, service delivery, incident workflows, vendor coordination, and cross-functional technology processes
  • Evaluate systems management outputs for clarity, accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with enterprise technology practices
  • Support structured review of runbooks, system notes, implementation plans, escalation paths, and operational documentation
  • Prepare clear written explanations for IT management decisions based on source materials and verifiable criteria

Documentation, Quality Review & Structured Feedback

  • Annotate, label, or validate technology-related materials across information systems and IT management use cases
  • Provide structured feedback on technical accuracy, workflow realism, systems logic, and documentation quality
  • Apply professional judgment to scenarios involving internal systems, technology teams, business stakeholders, and operational requirements
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and strong review standards across submitted work

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

  • 4+ years of experience in information systems management, IT management, technology operations, systems administration leadership, enterprise IT, technical program work, or related technology roles
  • Background in one or more areas such as IT operations, systems management, application support, infrastructure coordination, enterprise software, internal tools, service delivery, vendor management, or technology process improvement
  • Familiarity with workflows involving system access, incident resolution, application management, documentation, internal support, infrastructure planning, or IT governance
  • Comfort reading and preparing IT artifacts such as system documentation, runbooks, process notes, implementation plans, support records, incident summaries, and technology workflow materials
  • Strong analytical thinking and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate IT management workflows into clear, structured task documentation

Educational Background

  • A degree or professional background in information systems, computer science, information technology, business technology, software systems, engineering, or a related technical field is helpful
  • Equivalent practical experience in IT management, systems administration, enterprise technology, technical operations, or information systems leadership is also highly relevant

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing or supporting enterprise systems, SaaS platforms, internal tools, infrastructure workflows, service desks, application portfolios, or technical operations teams
  • Familiarity with ITSM practices, access management, incident management, change management, vendor coordination, cybersecurity basics, cloud systems, or enterprise software environments
