Job Description: Seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, deployment, and optimization of large-scale cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical environments. This role requires deep expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code, DevOps automation, security, and operational excellence across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
  • Build and enhance infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and Ansible
  • Develop automation frameworks, tooling, and scripts using Python and Bash
  • Architect reusable cloud infrastructure patterns and deployment modules
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines, governance controls, and deployment automation
  • Drive reliability, scalability, observability, and performance optimization initiatives
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and operational issues
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions across cloud environments
  • Partner with development, QA, security, and operations teams to provision and support environments
  • Lead cloud security, compliance, and governance initiatives
  • Create technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
  • Mentor engineers and serve as a subject matter expert on DevOps and cloud best practices

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud platforms
  • Advanced Terraform experience building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code solutions
  • Advanced Ansible experience including role-based automation and configuration management
  • Strong Python and Bash scripting skills
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and DevOps best practices
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar
  • Strong cloud security knowledge including IAM, encryption, network security, and compliance controls
  • Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure, application, and networking issues
  • Strong understanding of Linux administration
  • Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, load balancing, and firewalls
  • Experience leading technical initiatives and collaborating across multiple engineering teams
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP HANA or SAP Private Cloud Edition experience
  • Kubernetes and Docker experience
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • DevOps certifications
  • Experience supporting government, defense, or highly regulated environments
